Wedding Tip - Tuxedo's

TUXEDO GUIDELINES--PART 1 OF 3

Believe it or not, grooms have to do some choosing too when it comes to deciding what to wear on their wedding day. The groom's attire depends on the event's formality and the time of day when it takes place.

For a semi formal daytime wedding, the groom and his party can wear suits--usually dark in color, like black, gray, or navy--with straight collar shirts and either regular ties or four-in-hand ties. If the wedding is taking place in a tropical or warm locale, lighter-colored suits are permissible.

For a semiformal evening wedding, a dark tuxedo with bow tie and cummerbund or vest is appropriate. The groom can also opt to wear a dark suit. Fathers and ring bearers should wear the same attire as the groom and his groomsmen.
