In Our Own Back Yard

They've been coming and going over the last month. You can hear them at 2AM, bugling to each other. I didn't even have to drive, hours, to Estes Park. They've literally been on my front lawn. At a busy intersection near Heritage Square in Golden, a bull elk and his cows lounge on this Monday morning.
