...cards sent to friends and family informing them of the newlyweds' new address and any name changes. While this is a nice tradition, it's also an added expense.
Instead of sending out address change cards, you might want to consider simply ordering new stationary reflecting any address and name changes. People will find out about the changes only as you use the stationary to correspond, but at least you will have spent money on a useful item. If you're the really laid-back type, an e-mail will do the trick.
